Dentalaire Veterinary Dental Instruments Kit

This kit has all the essentials for cleaning teeth and treating periodontal pockets. Scalers have a triangular cross-section and a sharp tip on the end of the blade that’s designed to be used  above the gum line.

Curettes have a curved back and blunt toe on the end of the blade, making them safe to use under the gum line.

Scalers and curettes may be considered universal or area-specific instruments. When using universal instruments, both edges of the blade may be used. Area-specific instruments provide a distinct fit, as one edge of the blade is applied to the root surface accessed.
